Well, we took Katie to the doctor for her 6 month appointment on Wednesday. She weighed 17 lbs 8 oz (75th%) and was 25.5 inches long (15th%). Needless to say, my little princess is short and round :o)
She is developing just nicely according to all the questions they ask! Dr. Livingston looked in her ears and said they looked perfect - which is such a relief after two ear infections. He also checked her teeth and said there is no sign of her getting a tooth anytime soon. Oh well - just means I get to keep her my little baby a little longer!
She also got shots and did well with those. Her daddy swooped her up the second the nurse was done, so she didn't have long to cry. She was great for about 1.5 hours after the shots. Then, she got cranky... not just a little cranky... she got as cranky as a toddler who doesn't get M&Ms in Walmart. It was a horrible evening, night and next morning.
Overall, though, she is doing so well, and we love seeing all the new things she can do!!
