Maternity Pictures... a little late :o)

Lilly, Reid, Matt, and Sara said...: Happy 1 week Katie!! Those pictures are so sweet. Katie's bedding is very similar to Lilly's--the circles are just bigger. Hope your first week is going well and you are sleeping when you can.

Mom tip: Both of my kiddos slept with me for the first couple of months--well--Lilly didn't for the first couple of weeks because I was afraid I would squish her, it was after one night I laid her next to me and was about to get up to feed her AGAIN and she and I both fell asleep first and she slept like an extra 3 hours. From then on I was hooked. That isn't the mom tip, though. The mom tip is to try to lay her down for at least two of her naps each day (if not all, but I always wanted to hold my babies some while they were sleeping). This allows you to shower, put a load of laundry in, go potty, sit alone for a few moments, take a nap, etc. It sounds like such a silly tip--but it has made a huge difference with what I get done with two babies.; November 10, 2009 at 11:22 AM
