We had a fabulous day!!! When we got up this morning, we took Katie to the Fayetteville Farmer's Market. She loves being outside, so we knew she would enjoy it. She rode in her stroller while we walked around the square looking at flowers and vegetables. She also heard numerous types of music playing. She had a blast...
She also got to get in her bathing suit and play out in the water. Her Aunt Mischelle bought her this really cool splash mat. It is the perfect size for my precious baby. At first, she wasn't too sure about the temperature of the water. She is used to hot water from Mommy's baths! So, she cried and fussed for about 2 minutes until she got used to it. At that point, there was no stopping her. She wanted to lay on her belly and splash. She even tried to crawl in it, but her feet kept slipping out from under her. She loved the feeling of the water splashing through her fingers. It is such a neat experience as a Mommy to get to see your children experience things for the first time. Truly rewarding...
She was exhausted after such a fun day...
