How far along were you? 4 weeks
What was your reaction? Completely and utterly shocked!
Who was the first person you told? Jennifer - my best friend
How did you tell the father? It was his birthday, so I picked him up from class. There was a birthday present waiting on him, and it was the pregnant Willow Tree figurine and the 2 tests I had taken.
What was his reaction? "Are you serious?" Then he cried... Then he got scared!

ALL ABOUT YOUR PREGNANCY

When is your due date? November 28
Did you have any morning sickness? I did for weeks 5-6, but feel better now.
What are your fears? Continuing to be the best teacher while also being a great mom and wife...
What are you most happy about? The fact that I am going to be a mommy!
Did you want a boy or girl? I don't know... I think it would be so neat for my kids to have a big brother, but I also just love little girls.. So, I think I just want the baby to be healthy.
What did the father want boy or girl? Matt really wants a boy!
Do you know what you're having? Not there yet, but we will find out!
Do you have a name picked out? Kathryn Elizabeth "Katie Beth" or Carter Lee
How much weight have you gained? 2 pounds
Have you felt the baby move? Not there yet...

WHEN YOU HAVE THE BABY

Do you plan on a natural or medicated birth? Epidural!!!
Are you scared about labor? A little, but the baby definitely outweighs the fear
What do you think will be the worst part of labor? Hopefully not too much since I am having an epidural.
Have you taken any classes? No, but we plan to.
Who will be in the delivery room? Matt, my mom, his mom, Mischelle (Matt's sister), Jenn, and then anyone else who wants to be in there!
Are you having the birth videotaped? If the hospital will allow it!
Do you think you will cry when you see the baby for the first time? Oh my goodness, yes!! I cry at the thought...
What do you think the fathers reaction to the baby will be? I am pretty sure he will be in tears, too!
How do you think family and friends will feel? It will be the first baby on my side, so they are going to be absolutely thrilled!!!! Matt's family will also be very excited...
